I’d like to make a habit of sharing more real thoughts here and on my website. Ramblings, even. Things I don’t say because it’s not especially popular on social media to do so. Show the good, celebrate the happy, hide the rest - you know the drill. So let’s go against that a bit and do so more often. Not to highlight the bad, but to remember that it isn’t always rainbows and butterflies and fits of laughter. Sometimes the days are hard, we do tasks that we’d rather not do, and we cry... sometimes a lot, over the hard parts that hurt to get through, even when things are generally good. I don’t know if everyone feels this way, a little ungrateful to be sad or frustrated in the midst of so much good fortune. Tested by the sheer number of hours in the day and only so much energy to go around. Maybe it’s just me but I have a feeling there are more people out there, treading through it, feeling alone.
